What is dry eye?

Natural tears are an eye protection shield so that vision is clean and no disturbance. Some organisms can not produce a sufficient amount of tear to self-protect the eyes to be dried and very sensitive. This condition is called dry eye and if it is not treated in time it can be dangerous to the eye.

Why do we need tears

Tears are a complex liquid, which is secreted by the glands that exist around the eye. His action is mechanical and lubricating. Because of the tears the eyes are damaged bacteria and allergens and protect both vision. Each time we open our eyes this layer is refreshed and the eyes are re-hydrated. Tears are associated with injuries and intense emotion, but people experiencing dry eye, few relieved her symptoms when crying.
